CASA DOS NZ

PROJECT: Single-family home

TASK: Renovation and interior design

SURFACE AREA: 120 M2

LOCATION: San Isidro

YEAR: 2017

During the renovation process, some floors and sections of the original roof were recovered, thus preserving the history and character of the house. Old structures such as moldings and the old hearth were highlighted, adding a touch of nostalgia and authenticity to the interior design.

The brightest space was achieved in the dining room, where a window opened onto the garden. This opening not only provided abundant natural light, but also improved communication with the outside environment, creating a feeling of spaciousness and connection with nature.

Located in the San Isidro neighborhood, the remodeling of this small house represented a significant challenge for the architecture studio. Originally an old and gloomy house, with a limited garden, it was transformed into a warm and bright home. The predominant use of gray and white colors in all environments along with simple furniture contributed to this transformation.

In short, this remodeling not only managed to revitalize an old and darkened house, but also transformed it into a modern and welcoming home, where light and functionality combine harmoniously.
